NameSilo For Domain Names
All I ever buy is just the domain name and not all of the extra's so price became important.

Like the majority of people I started out getting all of my domains from GoDaddy. All I ever bought was just the domain and none of the extra's they tried to upsell me as I went through the purchase process.
When I first started using GoDaddy the price was pretty good, and I could always do a Google search for Coupon Codes to get the price lower. Unfortunately those days have been over for a good 5 years now.
Today the renewal of a domain is $17.99 per year. That may not sound like a lot of money but when you own over 100 domains that's $1,799 per year to renew just 100.
About 5 years ago I made the switch to NameSilo who only charged $8.99 to purchase a domain and to renew your domains. This cut my domain renewals in half!
You should know, they've increased their price to $10.95/yr but it's still way less money than GoDaddy.
If all you're buying is the domain name and then updating the Nameserver to your hosting company like I am then save yourself some money and start using NameSilo. There's no reason to spend the extra money. Instead, put the savings in your bank account and use it for other investments into your business.

They also show you how to transfer domains from GoDaddy to NameSilo. However, it's a bit technical and may be a bit intimidating to the non-technical person.
