It's A Whole Lot More Exciting To Build Your Life Around The Lifestyle You Want To Live!

To often we go into our adult life by the seat of our pants. We don't think about the life we want to create and then take the actions to create this life, but instead we act like robots and follow the normal path. However, the only way we get out of life what we want is by having a clear understand of what we want and then taking the actions to get it.

We've All Been Programmed On How We're Suppose To Live Our Lives

It's true, we have. We've all been programmed to how we're suppose to live our lives... go to school, get good grades, go to college and learn a trade, and then get a great job. Then for 50 weeks of the year we build someone else's dream (the owner of the business we work for) while we look forward to our 2-week vacation.

This is what we're taught.

But it's not how everyone tackles life.

Plus, there are other options available to us which doesn't get enough coverage.

In other words, there are many other options to living life than doing the stereo-type way of living.

Imagining And Designing the Life You Want To Live

First, let's take a step back and imagine the life you'd like to live, realistically.

Saying you want someone else to support you and give you all of the money you want and buy you a house and buy you expensive cars isn't realistic. If these are the things you want, it's up to you to create the money to buy these things.

How are you going to create the money you need to live the life you want to live?

But before we get to the money making part, let's first determine the life you want. Let's start with the life we're programmed to live...

  • Work 40 hours a week
  • Work from 8am to 5pm, 1 hour lunch
  • Home in the evenings for family dinner and other evening events
  • Weekends off
  • A 2-week per year paid vacation

This is the life we're being taught to live.

Now, not everyone gets weekends off and not every job is 8am to 5pm. As far as this goes, not every employer offers a 2-week paid vacation every year.

But this is the stereo-type life we're taught to create and live.

Growing up this was my dad's life, except he was the owner of the business. And back then it didn't take as much income to create a great life like it does today. Mom never worked, and didn't need to.

Most weekends were vacations... motorcycling, camping, fishing trips, boating and hunting weekends. Our annual vacations included trips to Disneyland, Oregon coast trips and many other really fun vacations.

I admit, it felt like we lived a life of the privileged but that's because my dad worked his butt off and put family time as a high priority.

We lived in a modest house because dad understood the value of money, and instead of having a lot of money going toward house payments, taxes & insurance we lived in a modest house freeing up a lot of money to buy toys for our weekend adventures. It's a choice of how you want to live your life.

For dad, who I love dearly, it was always about family time! I lost my dad 3 years ago and miss him so much.

What's Important To You? What's Your Ideal Life?

Take some time and determine the life you want to live.

There's no right or wrong answers here because this is YOUR life. But if you're unrealistic like suggesting someone else is going to shower you with money or that you're going to win the lottery, you'll just be setting yourself up for disappointment.

As you write out the life you want it has to be based upon things you yourself are able to achieve. For example, everyone is capable of making a million dollars a year. That's not the problem. The problem is not everyone is willing to do what it'll take and put in the work to make this kind of money.

I've had this discussion with people who just wanted to do their job, go home and live their life. They had no passion in life except which bar they'd be going to after work with their friends. They just wanted to make enough money to cover their living expenses and have some extra for the bar. Sad.

I've had people say they wanted to work their butts off for the next 5-10 years and then retire and enjoy the rest of their lives.

And I've heard things in between.

This is your life. How do you want to live it?

Start here by spending quality time realistically designing your life.

  • What do you want to do with your time? How do you want to spend it?
  • What do you want to drive?
  • What kind of house do you want to live in?
  • Where do you want to live?
  • Who do you want in your life? A spouse? Children?
  • Maybe you want a good job with good hours that pays you a respectable income, and raise your family like the typical American family is doing.
    • Along with this, maybe you want to be able to buy toys for weekend outings and awesome vacations.

Make sure you have something in your life which excites you. This could be a spouse and an amazing family you two are creating. Or it could be hobby you really enjoy doing. Or it could be charity work helping others. Or it could be a number of others, and even be a combination of things.

Wanting to party all of the time, being blunt, is a terrible life choice. I just needed to put this out there.

Then determine what you're willing to do, or give up, to create this kind of life. There's always a price to pay to achieve more than the average Joe, things like your time and money, going to school, learning new skills, etc. Achievers invest their time and money into things which will move them ahead in life.

How Do You Create This Life?

Once you've designed your life, you'll then start brainstorming how you'll create this life you want to live.

Let's take a look at a few ways.

College Degree

A lot of people have created great lives as an employee. That's because they were smart by going to college and learning a specific trade which made them valuable to an employer. For the knowledge they gained and their willingness to work hard they were paid a good income.

Studies show those with a bachelor's degree make an average of $32,000/yr more than those without a degree. That's almost $3,000/mo more! Wow.

According to the U.S. Bureau of Labor, in fact, college graduates earn an average of 61% more than non-college graduates.

Knowing these facts, if you want to be an employee (not everyone is cut out to take the risk of business ownership or put in the hours to build a business), why wouldn't you want to get a college degree and make 61% more than a non-college graduate?

Just make sure that whatever degree you get it's a degree where you can find a good paying job. There are people getting degrees that serve no value to employers and then complaining about all of the money they spent on college not paying off.

Don't be this person! Before choosing a trade do a job market analysis to make sure you can find a job in your chosen profession which makes a decent income. If there aren't jobs in the degree you're interested in pick another degree!

There are a lot of "in demand jobs" that need filled. Get a degree in one of these fields and have the pick of who you want to work for. Or maybe you want to live in a specific city... put out resumes to businesses in this city.

You should also know, a lot of colleges are offering online home based classes. It's an option if the degree you want isn't offered locally.

Trade Schools

When it comes to schooling there are more options than just going to college. I'm a huge supporter of trade schools which focuses solely on teaching a specific trade without all of the extra college courses like English and Math.

A Trade School focuses solely on teaching the students the skills they need to do the job. This is why you can graduate from a Trade School in just 1.5 to 3 years allowing you to get into the work force making money a lot sooner than a college degree.

Trade Schools are also less costly than going to a college or university.

I know numerous people who went the trade school route who all were able to land great jobs. There are a lot of trade school options to choose from. Here's an article sharing the top 10 paying trade school professions: The 10 Highest-Paying Trade Jobs.

Here's a link for you to find a trade school for the profession you want to go in: Trade Schools, Colleges & Universities. Notice all of the professions you can go into (scroll down the home page).

There are so many options. A number of the professions available you can also turn into your own business. There are many independent Cosmetologist and Massage Therapist, as two examples.

Finally, you are never too old to go back to school, whether college or a trade school, to learn a trade. Don't allow disempowering beliefs or fears to hold you back from achieving your dreams or to create a better life for you [and your family].

Home Business

Another option is building your own home business. If making a lot of money fast is part of what you're after, this is your best option. Just be aware, there's a lot to building a home business, there are risks and the majority of people fail (because they're doing it wrong or just give up).

You could even do this part-time while working a full-time job.

Nothing great comes without commitment and hard work. And excitedly, you don't need to try and figure out how to create success in your life... the path has already been mapped out for you. All you have to do is follow the proven roadmap.

It's the key decisions you have to make along the way like choosing the type of home business you want to build and then the work you need to do to build this business where mistakes can be made. The good news is there's solutions for all of this too.

Anything is possible if you're willing to study, stay focused, put in the work and not give up.

And be prepared for obstacles and setbacks... they happen. Nobody gets out of experiencing challenges and obstacles when building a business. Just look at them as "learning opportunities", look for the solution and continue to move forward.

If this is the option you're most interested in then you need to consider these two foundational courses...

Two Foundational Courses Key To Show You How To Build A Home Business The Right Way

Because of what it takes to build a successful home business and that the majority of people have never been taught how to build a business, we have two foundational courses everyone new to home businesses should purchase.

The first course teaches you the foundational core steps to building a business. This course is so important because it shows you the proven steps to building a business. The first two steps are literally foundation with the first step setting the foundation to your business. It's the decision you make in step one which will set in motion everything else moving forward.

You can learn more about this course here: The Core Steps To Building A Business.

The second course we created digs deep into the first two foundational steps. That's because there's no room for doing these steps wrong. Both serve a very important purpose.

This course will save you a lot of time and a lot of money and a lot of frustrations!

In addition to this, this course offers a whole lot of key information about home businesses, marketing and other things which will help you create a much more profitable business.

This course also answers the following questions:

  • What businesses do you recommend if I need to make money now? (This is our #1 question)
  • What businesses do you recommend for someone brand new to a home business?
  • Can you build a home business part-time when you're already working full-time, and if you can then how?
  • What is the best business based upon my personal circumstances?
  • What if I don't have the money to invest into a home business, what do I do?

This is just a few of the things covered in this course. Bluntly, I believe you'll be really impressed with everything we cover in this course.

Then we decided to create a bonus document showing you over 140 different home business ideas broke down by 5 categories. Everyone calls this bonus document the perfect bonus to the course. It will help you brainstorm ideas for your home business.

As you'll see, you really do have a lot of options. The question is, what type of business would be best for you?

You can learn more about this course here: The New Home Business Strategy Course.

These are foundational courses everyone new to a home business should pick up. Even those who have already started a home business and aren't getting the results they expected and hoped for are picking up these courses. This is because the course has helped them to understand why they're not getting the results they expected and to make key corrections in their business which has put them on the right path and helped them create the results they were expecting. (There's a difference between what you "expect" to achieve and what you "want" to achieve.)

Building a home business isn't that hard when you know how to do it the right way, and you have the proper expectations. We don't blow any smoke up your caboose, but instead lay it all on the line for you so you know what to expect and are prepared for what you'll experience when building a home business.

Remember, your life will be based upon the decisions you make and the actions you take. You can do the home business like so many others who weren't taught how to build it properly and end up with the same results they got (80-90% fail), or you can take a different road and change the results. We're providing you with that other road by teaching you how to build a home business the right way.
